Austin-Bergstorm International Airport

Located just southeast of the capital of Texas is Austin-Bergstorm International Airport. Very similar to other airports throughout the country, its history is rich in military influence. One different fact about the airport is the runways are dedicated and named after politicians, President Lyndon B. Johnson and former Congressmen J.J. "Jake" Pickle. Vancouver International Airport

When traveling to the Canadian province of British Columbia, a prime destination is Vancouver. Vancouver International Airport has grown leaps and bounds from its very humble beginning. Although he didn't come there on his tour of North America, Charles Lindburgh played a large role in the creation of the airport. He declined to visit stating "there is no fit field to land on", so with bruised egos the Vancouver community decided to build a "fit field".
