When you are traveling to the amazing beaches of Palm Beach, Florida you will most likely fly into the Palm Beach International Airport. Established in 1936 as Morrison Field, the airport is rich in history, both in general aviation and military. In fact, many of the aircraft that where involved in the D-Day Invasion of Normandy originated from Morrison Field. The local government voted in 1948 to change the name to Palm Beach International Airport to be more recognizable internationally.
