Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is known as "the world’s busiest passenger airport." Do to the increase in population and economical development in the southern half of the United States, the airport was granted 5.4 billion towards a 10-year development program. In maintaining a global leadership role, the airport has essential designed the program based on the quintessential needs of the people; and in doing so through upgrades and accommodations based solely on the growth and traffic demand driven by Atlanta’s strong economy.
The newest project the "Fifth Runway" which is estimated at $1.2 billion, is said to be Georgia’s largest construction undertaking in its history, making it the perfect place to land private jets.


FUN FACT: Did you know that Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is the largest structure owned by the City of Atlanta. One could actually fit more than 11 Astrodome playing fields into the North and South Gate Complex. If that isn’t mind boggling enough maybe this is, the airport houses more than 83 retail stores, 77 food and beverage outlets and a total of 30,828 parking spaces.
