Regarded as one of the eight wonders of the world, the unsurpassed beauty of Agra’s Taj Mahal has drawn in tourists from around the world.

Created by Emperor Shah Jahan in honor of his late wife, queen Mumtaz Mahal, who passed away after giving birth to their fourteenth child. This marble elegy flourished with precious gems, rises to a height of 213 feet, using the interlocking arabesque concept for perfect integration.

Constructed in over a period of 20 years, it took approximately 20,000 workers to create this beauty. It is considered the finest example of Mughal architecture, a style that combines elements from Persian, Turkish, Indian, and Islamic architectural styles.

Housing both the remains of Emperor Shah Jahan and Queen Mumtaz Mahal in the lower chambers, Taj Mahal is indeed a mausoleum fit for royalty. Beyond everything it is a place of true romance and beauty; transcending time through the preservation of honor, loyalty and dedication, a true representation of their undying love. It is said that during the setting of the sun, if you are to kiss the one you love in front of the Taj Mahal, it is only then that you will discover if the love is true.

The closest and most convenient airport for this destination is the Agra AirForce Base, equipped for private jets or aircraft of choice.
