Grand Cayman Island Owen Roberts International Airport

Grand Cayman Island Owen Roberts International Airport located in Georgetown, Grand Cayman serves as a hub for local airlines, receiving more than one million passengers a year.

The Grand Cayman Islands are located 180 miles south of Cuba and 195 miles northwest of Jamaica in the West Caribbean Sea. The overall island is comprised of three smaller islands the Cayman Brac, Grand Cayman, and Little Cayman, which come together to make up the Cayman Trench a massive underwater ridge standing 8000ft from sea level.

Tourists come from all over via yacht or private jets to enjoy a piece of paradise. With some of the finest beaches for scuba diving, the Cayman Islands have become one of the top sought after vacation spots in the Caribbean. There are actually more businesses than there are people; needless to say, business has become the livelihood amongst the islanders who work so diligently to meet tourist needs

FUN FACT: "Did you know that all three islands were formed by large coral heads covering submerged ice age peaks of western extensions of the Cuban Sierra Maestra range and are mostly flat.?"
